Brief Introduction

Hi everyone and welcome to my Blog!

I want to give you a brief introduction of who I am and what this is all about.

My name is Stefan and I am currently living in Munich, Germany.  I started to practice Yoga in 2012. At the time I was an active Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and was searching for something that helps me to supplement my hard training to stay injury free. So I took up a Yoga class.

I was immediately surprised by how hard Yoga is and how unflexible I was.

Since this time I was on and off the mats, but never stopped Yoga entirely. I knew that I felt out of balance when I skipped Yoga for a longer period of time.

I moved to Thailand in 2014 to teach Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and was lucky that a Yoga studio was literally next door to my temporary home. I started to practice on a daily basis and fell in love with it. The practice in the warm climate really made me progress fast and get more flexible, I also really enjoyed the sensation after a hard class. Since this time I always kept practicing, sometimes more sometimes less.

The Yoga Journey

At the beginning of 2018, I finally decided to take it more seriously and started to study Yoga more actively. I practice on a daily basis and read up on literature to improve my understanding of Yoga. I am in the process of planning to attend a Teacher training later this year.

I decided against running through a teacher training without educating myself a bit upfront and keeping a daily practice regime for a while. I always like to take on things with a little bit of preparation in advance.

With this Blog, I want to share with you what I learned along the way. I intensively studied nutrition and health for a couple of years now and I am very interested in longevity and being able to do all kinds of sports until a high age.

I try to find the best possible way to stay fit & healthy, including things like eating healthy, organic foods while staying away from factory farming and processed foods as much as possible.

I want to share with you what I learned from years of running through all kinds of diets and tell you what really worked for me.

On top of that, I want to take you with me through my journey of becoming a Yoga teacher and sharing my experiences in the process with you.

I would be glad if you stick around!
